Iván y su grupo MARES

 

Iván y su Grupo MARES, is a musical organization of romantic Mexican cumbia with elements of Hidalgo folklore, originally from Mixquiahuala de Juárez, Hidalgo, México.

We have 2 recordings and presentations throughout the center of the Mexican Republic.

 

We are currently promoting our second album, which is a compilation of songs that were hits by groups from Hidalgo in the 70s, 80s and 90s. This album was recorded in collaboration (featuring) with singers and authors of the original groups, from which the single titled "No hay vacantes" comes out in a duet with Jaime y su grupo Sacrificio.

 

The first disc includes 15 unreleased tracks, a production that aims to give recognition to different authors of the Mezquital Valley, among which are Pedro Alamilla, Ernesto "Caballo" Martínez (qepd), Guadalupe A. Calixto (qepd), Javier Ávalos Lara, Fernando Aguilar, Alejandro Olvera and Nazario Olivares.
